Tom Clancy's The Division is one of Locsmiths most groundbreaking localization works, where we went deeper than ever into concepts pioneered by our team like real life speech mimicking, creation of speech matrixes and speech traits.
Is it easy? NO! Does it give more extra work? YES! Did the players actually gave a damn? That's always the gamble, right? But looking at this massive wall of praise we're going to put our chips into the YES ;)
I hope you all enjoy playing it as much as we did working on it! Just to share a little nugget of info, the Rikers' jargon is based in a real life study of jargon in the 6 largest criminal detention facilities in Brazil.
